What is the "Light Factory"?
As a worker in the Light Factory your job is to find out what Jesus really meant when he said "I am the Light of the World". You will meet some of the people who met Jesus, hear what they thought about him and learn how you too can reflect his Light.
Plus ... action songs, games, the factory Workout (to keep you fit), the Laser Challenge (try it if you dare!), Assembly Line (crafts), T-Break (a daily drama serial) and much more!
Who Can Attend?
The Light Factory is now recruiting Workers who are currently in Reception or in Years 1 to 6. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept pre-school children.
How Do I Register?
The main registration session will be from 10 am to 12 noon on Saturday 28th July, at the Methodist Church. If you are unable to attend the registration session, please send an e-mail to lightfactory@amazers.cjb.net, giving your name, age, address and telephone number to reserve your place. A registration form can be completed when you arrive on Monday morning.
Numbers will be limited so pre-registration is strongly recommended.
How Much Does it Cost?
Absolutely Nothing!
Who is Involved?
The Light Factory is organised and funded jointly by All Saints' Parish Church, Sawtry Methodist Church and Huntingdon Community Church and will be run entirely by volunteers.
When and Where?
The five week-day sessions will take place at the Methodist Church, Green End Road, Sawtry from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August, between 10 am and 12 noon.
On Sunday 5th August, parents, families and friends are invited to join in the fun and can choose between All-Age Worship at the Methodist Church or a Family Service at All Saints' Church, both between 10.30 and 11.30 am and both following the Light Factory theme.
